The Unit is a single-fin 10′ log that keeps you cruising on the face of the smallest of waves. A soft-top longboard like you’ve never seen before.
The underside of the nose is concave for more front-end float, just like a fibreglass noserider. Put 125 litres, a long rail line, a single fin and solid construction together and you get a board that can catch any wave in the sea and cruise further than anything else. It’s the go-to for small, lazy summer days, and it’s a blast for tandem riding with your mates or your dog.

4 marine wooden stringers coated with an epoxy nano-coating to resist water absorption, surrounded by a proprietary EPS foam and a colour-fast, UV-resistant soft top. The deck has a wide texture and doesn’t need wax, though wax will improve grip. The whole board is heat laminated with no harmful dyes, glues, resins or toxins, in a factory that runs on collected rainwater. All materials are recyclable.
6 epoxy-coated magnets are embedded in the foam beneath the HDPE slick bottom, projecting a magnetic field into the water around the rider. The field overwhelms a shark’s electroreceptor system and causes discomfort, without harming the animal. No batteries, no charging, no maintenance.
Every Rock-It board also carries the zebra-striped sea camo slick, a visual deterrent based on 2013 research from the University of Western Australia. Testing and disclosures
SharkGuard reduces risk but does not eliminate it. SharkGuard is a deterrent that helps reduce the risk of unwanted shark interactions. We do not guarantee complete protection or prevention of all shark encounters, and we do not guarantee it works equally across all species. Ambush attacks from large predatory species will not be deterred.
Magnetic field and medical devices. SharkGuard uses strong magnets. People with pacemakers, defibrillators or other implanted medical devices should not handle or ride a SharkGuard board without consulting a doctor. Keep sensitive electronics (hard drives, credit cards, phones) at least 30 cm from the board.
Do not attempt to remove magnets. Any attempt to remove, damage or alter the magnets can injure the user and will void the warranty.
